Frequently Asked Questions

A quick guide to buying, collecting, shipping, selling, and protecting your order with The Poké Pages. For the fine details, we've linked the full policies where they matter.

Are the cards and collectibles sold by The Poké Pages authentic?

Authenticity is a core part of how we handle inventory. We inspect the items we acquire and represent them based on the information, photographs, certification, and identifying characteristics available to us.

Professionally graded cards are sold according to the grading company and certification shown on the holder. If a legitimate authenticity concern ever arises with something we sold, we want to know about it and will review it seriously. Read our Authenticity Guarantee.

Is the card pictured the card I will receive?

For individually listed raw cards and graded cards, the photographs are intended to show the actual collectible being offered unless the listing clearly states otherwise.

We encourage you to review every available photo and the listing notes before purchasing—especially with vintage and condition-sensitive cards. What you see should be what arrives.

How do you determine card condition?

Raw-card condition is an informed assessment based on the specific card in front of us, including characteristics such as surface, corners, edges, whitening, creases, dents, and other visible wear.

Condition terminology is not a guarantee of a future grading result or that every collector will assign the exact same label. Our goal is accurate disclosure, supported by clear photographs. See the full Card Condition Guide.

How does shipping work?

Orders are carefully packed and released for shipment after payment and any applicable order-protection requirements are complete. Tracking is emailed once the order ships.

As order value increases, additional protections may include insurance and signature confirmation. The protection traveling with the package should make sense for the value traveling inside it. See our full Shipping & Order Protection Policy.

Why does The Poké Pages verify some higher-value purchases?

Pokémon is for collectors of all ages—and sometimes our little collectors get just as excited about a card as the rest of us.

Higher-value purchases may receive an additional confirmation before shipment to make sure the purchase was intentional and authorized by the person responsible for the payment method. Orders from $500–$999.99 may require a purchase-confirmation text, while orders of $1,000 or more may require secure identity verification through Stripe Identity.

These safeguards help protect against unauthorized purchases, payment mistakes, and the occasional enthusiastic little collector who may have gotten a few clicks further through checkout than expected. Verification does not mean there is a problem with your order. Your payment has been received, your items remain secured, and no additional payment is required.

Is checkout secure, and do you store my payment or identity documents?

Our online payment flow is handled through Stripe. When Stripe Identity is required for a qualifying high-value purchase, the identity-document submission is handled through Stripe's secure verification process.

The Poké Pages does not receive or store the identity-document images you submit through Stripe Identity. Never send identity documents to us by email, text, or social media.

Can I return a card or collectible?

Because collectibles are unique, condition-sensitive, and market-sensitive, sales are generally final. We do not generally accept returns for buyer's remorse, a change of mind, grading disagreements, or market-price movement.

Final sale does not mean we avoid responsibility. If we send the wrong item, materially misrepresent something, there is a legitimate authenticity issue, or your collectible suffers legitimate shipping damage, contact us so we can review it. See our full Returns & Refunds Policy.

What happens if my package is lost or damaged?

Contact us as soon as possible. For damage, keep the item, shipping box, label, protective materials, and all original packaging exactly as received whenever possible, and take clear photographs.

For a missing package, review the carrier tracking and delivery information first, then contact us if it still cannot be located. Carrier or insurance claims may require documentation and investigation. More detail is available in our Shipping Policy.

Can I sell or trade cards to The Poké Pages?

Yes. We're always interested in seeing quality Pokémon inventory, from individual cards and graded pieces to collections and other collectibles that fit The Poké Pages.

What we're buying and the offer we can make depends on the item, condition, current market, and our inventory needs. Start with our Sell to Us page and show us what you have.

What is The Poké Pages?

The Poké Pages is a collector-run Pokémon business built around looking at the hobby through more than one lens: the card itself, its condition, its history, its market, and where it belongs in a collection.

We offer raw singles, graded cards, sealed product, binder cards, and collectibles while putting an emphasis on authenticity, transparent condition, thoughtful pricing, and careful fulfillment. If you'd like to know how the pages started, read Our Story.
