Returns & Refunds
At The Poké Pages, we want you to know exactly what you're adding to your collection before you buy it. Collectibles are different from ordinary retail products. Condition is individual, values can change quickly, and many of the items we sell are unique. For those reasons, sales are generally final, with protections in place when something genuinely goes wrong with an order.
Our goal is simple: if we made a mistake, we want the opportunity to make it right.
Final Sale Policy
Unless otherwise stated on the product listing, purchases from The Poké Pages are considered final sale once delivered.
We do not generally accept returns because of a change of mind, buyer's remorse, changes in market value, or a customer's decision that they no longer want the collectible.
However, final sale does not mean you're stuck with an item that was materially misrepresented, damaged in transit, or incorrectly fulfilled. If there is a legitimate problem with your order, contact us and we will review it.
When We Will Review a Return or Refund
A return, refund, replacement, or other appropriate resolution may be considered when:
- You received an item different from the item you ordered.
- The item arrived with material damage that was not present or disclosed before shipment.
- The item materially differs from its description or photographs.
- There is a legitimate authenticity concern involving an item sold by The Poké Pages.
- We made another material fulfillment error with your order.
Because many collectibles are unique, an identical replacement may not always be available. When appropriate, the resolution may instead involve a refund, partial refund, replacement, or another mutually agreed solution.
Contact Us Promptly
If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact The Poké Pages within 48 hours of confirmed delivery whenever reasonably possible.
Please include your order information, a description of the issue, clear photographs of the item, and photographs of the shipping box and packaging if damage occurred during transit.
Keep all original packaging, shipping materials, labels, and the item itself until the issue has been resolved. These materials may be necessary to verify the shipment or support a carrier or insurance claim.
Please Don't Send an Item Back Without Authorization
Contact us before returning any merchandise.
An item sent back without prior return authorization may complicate our ability to verify the claim, document its condition, or pursue applicable shipping protection.
If a return is approved, The Poké Pages will provide instructions for how and where the item should be returned. Higher-value returns may require tracked, insured, and/or signature-confirmed shipping.
Condition-Sensitive Collectibles
We make every reasonable effort to accurately photograph and describe our inventory.
For raw cards in particular, condition terminology is an informed assessment—not a promise that another collector, dealer, marketplace, or grading company will assign the exact same condition.
Customers should review all available photographs and condition information before purchasing.
A return generally will not be approved solely because a buyer personally evaluates the condition differently when the relevant characteristics were reasonably disclosed or visible in the listing. However, if an item materially differs from the condition represented by the listing, contact us so we can review it.
Professional Grading
Grades assigned by professional grading companies belong to the grading company—not The Poké Pages.
A professionally graded card sold as a PSA 9, CGC 8, or other grade is being represented as the grade shown on the holder at the time of sale. Differences of opinion regarding whether a card should have received another grade are not grounds for a return.
The Poké Pages cannot guarantee the outcome of resubmitting a graded card, crossing a card to another grading company, cracking a card out of its holder, or submitting a raw card for grading.
Once a graded card is removed from, cracked out of, altered within, or otherwise separated from its original holder, it is no longer eligible for return based on its original sale condition.
Raw Cards
Raw cards are sold based on the specific card shown and described in the listing unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Minor imperfections that were visible in the listing photographs or reasonably consistent with the disclosed condition are not considered undisclosed damage. We encourage collectors to examine the photographs carefully, particularly when purchasing vintage, high-value, or condition-sensitive cards.
A raw card that has been altered, cleaned, repaired, trimmed, pressed, submitted for grading, or otherwise changed after delivery is not eligible for return.
Sealed Products
Sealed products are eligible for claim review if they arrive materially damaged in transit or materially differ from the listing.
Once factory wrapping, seals, packs, boxes, or other original product closures have been opened, removed, broken, altered, or tampered with, the product is no longer eligible for return except where required by applicable law.
Changes in pull rates, pack contents, manufacturing variation, or the results obtained from opening a sealed Pokémon product are not grounds for a return or refund.
Market Price Changes
Collectible markets move.
The value of a card or product may rise or fall after purchase, sometimes significantly. A change in market value after an order is placed does not create eligibility for a return, refund, price adjustment, or cancellation.
Likewise, if an item increases in value after purchase, The Poké Pages will honor the completed sale rather than canceling simply because the market moved in our favor. We believe that standard should work both ways.
Cancellations Before Shipment
If you contact us before an order has entered fulfillment, we may be able to review a cancellation request.
Cancellation is not guaranteed, particularly after verification, postage purchase, insurance purchase, packaging, or other fulfillment activity has begun.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order ourselves when necessary because of inventory error, payment or verification concerns, suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, shipping restrictions, or another legitimate reason preventing fulfillment.
Damaged Shipments
If an item appears to have been damaged during shipping, do not discard anything.
Keep the collectible, shipping container, internal packaging, protective materials, and shipping label exactly as received whenever possible. We may request photographs or other documentation before determining the appropriate resolution.
Shipping-damage claims may also be subject to carrier or insurance investigation.
Authenticity Concerns
Authenticity matters to us.
If you have a legitimate reason to believe an item purchased from The Poké Pages is not authentic, contact us immediately and do not alter, grade, crack, open, or otherwise modify the item.
We will review the concern and may request additional photographs, documentation, or independent authentication depending on the circumstances. A verified authenticity problem attributable to an item we sold will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
Return Inspection & Refunds
Approved returns must be received back in the same item, condition, configuration, and packaging state in which they were delivered, subject only to the issue that caused the approved return.
Returned collectibles may be inspected and compared with our original listing photographs, inventory records, identifying characteristics, certification information, and other transaction documentation. This protects everyone involved from accidental item mix-ups as well as card, slab, or product substitution.
Once an approved return has been received and verified, we will determine the appropriate resolution and process any applicable refund.
Abuse, Substitution & Fraudulent Returns
The Poké Pages reserves the right to deny a return or refund when there is reasonable evidence that an item has been switched, altered, damaged after delivery, tampered with, misrepresented, or returned in a materially different condition.
We may retain relevant listing photographs, certification information, transaction records, shipping records, verification records, and communications to help investigate disputed returns.
Suspected fraudulent activity may be reported to the appropriate payment processor, carrier, insurer, marketplace, financial institution, or other appropriate party.
Our Commitment
A final-sale policy should never be an excuse for a seller to avoid responsibility.
If we send the wrong item, materially misrepresent something, or your collectible suffers legitimate shipping damage, we want to hear from you and we want the opportunity to make it right.
At the same time, we photograph, describe, protect, verify, and ship collectibles carefully. Our return policy is designed to preserve that same integrity after delivery.
Fair to the collector. Fair to the transaction. Fair to the hobby.
Thank you for letting us add to your pages.
